Webinar with Amy Lynch on best practices for new advertising rule compliance

FrontLine’s Founder and President Amy Lynch was a featured regulatory expert, joining a webinar panel to discuss the SEC’s new advertising rule. Rule 206(4)-1 was the subject of a recent webinar hosted by ThinkAdvisor and attended by over 400 industry professionals. Ms. Lynch presented a thorough overview of the new rule and highlighted its key changes from the present rule. She also covered best practices for ensuring compliance with the new rule and reviewed how an advertisement, testimonial and endorsement are each defined within their regulatory context. Ms. Lynch further discussed the “dos and don’ts” of testimonials and endorsements while stressing to attendees that Rule 206(4)-1 does not have a compliance date until November 4, 2022, and the SEC has stated it does not want firms to partially comply before then.
